About the RoleThe Senior Clinician will provide leadership within a multidisciplinary Early Psychosis Community Team at Eastern Health. This team aims to enhance early recognition and reduce the duration and/or impact of first episode psychosis for children and young people aged 0 – 25 years and their families. As a key member of the team, you will work in partnership with the Team Leader to provide consistent and effective clinical and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality mental health assessment, case management, and clinical treatment and interventions for children, young people, and their families presenting with first episode psychosis.
- Contribute to the ongoing strategic development and implementation of enhancements to the model of care for children, youth, and families, ensuring practice aligns with contemporary, evidence-based mental health models of care such as the EPPIC Model.
- Maintain a positive culture within the Box Hill Early Psychosis Team and broader ICYMHS service.
- Current Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse registration with AHPRA; eligibility for membership of AASW for Social Work.
- At least five years' clinical experience working with children or young people.
- A strong commitment to high-quality care.
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
