Job Role:

The HR Change Manager will oversee the execution of comprehensive organisational change programmes, encompassing restructuring and workforce transformations.

This includes collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement structured change management plans, conducting impact assessments, and managing critical project milestones. Additionally, the role involves partnering with line managers to provide guidance and support throughout consultation phases, engaging with unions and IR stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant NSW Government policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement change management strategies in conjunction with senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough impact analyses and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Offer expert guidance and support to line managers during consultation phases.
  • Engage constructively with union representatives and other IR stakeholders.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable operational outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and outcomes, providing regular updates to executive stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering successful change management projects within the NSW public sector.
  • In-depth understanding of NSW Government frameworks, restructures, and industrial relations.
  • Experience managing sensitive and confidential projects involving redundancies or role redesigns.
  • Proficiency in workforce design, planning, and organisational restructuring.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including credibility at executive levels.
  • Hands-on approach, comfortable navigating ambiguity and tight deadlines.
