Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with disabilities to participate in activities and achieve their goals
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card
  • Blue Card preferred
  • Police Check
  • Certificate 3 in Disability Support or equivalent
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Driver's license and reliable transport
  • Fully COVID vaccinated and Boosted*as per QLD Health Regulations (*For Aged Care support workers)
  • Updated Flu Vaccination
  • Valid rights to work in Australia (Passport, Birth Cert., etc.)
  • Manual Handling Training and Hoist experience
