Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and communication.
  • Assist clients with social support, including companionship, emotional support, and advocacy.
  • Conduct domestic assistance tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Requirements
  • Full Australian Work Rights
  • Relevant qualifications in Disability or equivalent (Cert III or IV)
  • 2+ doses of Covid-19 Vaccinations
  • Australian Drivers License
  • National Police Check (issued in last 24 months)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid
  • Working With Children Check
  • Experience (2+ years preferable)

Our pay covers penalty rates for higher wages when working nights, weekends, or public holidays, as well as overtime.   • All care: Taking care of our employees ensures that they can do their best work. We provide paid training for support workers to access learning opportunities and develop their skills. Plus, there are extra opportunities like support worker conferences and other events.
  • Full responsibility: Our support workers have access to a suite of insurances covering all shifts worked on, including workers' compensation. We have a dedicated employee support team to help our employees get the most out of their job, and 24/7 incident response if anything unexpected happens on shift. We take responsibility for working conditions and employee wellbeing.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities: Paid training for a quality disability support workforce. We pay workers for essential and specialized training.
Shift Details

We are looking for support workers to fill 3 to 4 shifts a week, with an 8-hour shift length. Shift times are:

  • 6am to 2pm
  • 2pm to 10pm
  • 10pm to 6am (Active overnight)
