Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Technician to join our team at the Curragh North coal mining project. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our heavy earthmoving equipment.

About the Role

This is a permanent employment opportunity for an experienced Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Technician who can work collaboratively with our maintenance supervisor to deliver high-quality solutions and results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and fit rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required.
  • Remove and refit tyres and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving mining equipment as required.
  • Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to supervisor.
  • Source technical information from available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems.
  • Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of equipment non-conformance, identify and record any equipment quality problems, initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
