Heavy Equipment Mechanic

    We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements and tire rotations;
  • Conduct repairs and diagnostic tests on heavy earthmoving equipment;
  • Assist with breakdowns and ensure timely resolution of issues;
  • Source technical information from reference manuals and OEM systems;
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.

    Requirements:

  • ">
  • A trade certificate in diesel fitting or relevant equivalent;
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earthmoving industry;
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment;
  • Demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT heavy earthmoving equipment.
