Senior Operations Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations group, you will be responsible for driving business improvement initiatives, collecting and analyzing key performance indicators, physical data and cost metrics in relation to the budget and mine plan.

Job Description:

Spearhead Business Improvement Initiatives

  • Analyze key performance indicators, physical data, and cost metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mine Planning and/or UG Shift Management
  • Behaviour consistent with our values
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to plan and work effectively and efficiently and with a minimum of supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Familiar with standard operating procedures
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge for the use of underground long-hole drilling equipment
