The process plant is the heart of our operation, and we need a skilled Process Operator to help us maintain its peak performance.

This key role involves monitoring and adjusting operating variables and equipment during each shift to ensure optimal output. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards in production while adhering to all relevant legislation and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining optimal production levels by monitoring and adjusting operating variables and equipment during each shift as required.
  • Operating in assigned areas of the process plant, including crushing, grinding, leaching, control room, gold room or tailings.
  • Ensuring that reagent stock tank levels and other consumables are always maintained at satisfactory levels.
  • Conducting pre-starts at the beginning of each shift and reporting any electrical or mechanical faults to the maintenance team promptly.
  • Recording accurate and comprehensive shift logs, checklists, diaries, and safety meetings.
  • Obtaining competency sign-offs to learn and confidently operate all relevant sections of the plant.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Prior experience in Crushing, Grinding, Leaching (CIP), Gravity/Gold Room, Reagents and TSF would be highly advantageous.
  • A deep understanding of the gold processing environment.
  • Previous experience as a Leading Hand, with the ability to mentor and train junior staff.
  • Prior experience operating loaders, skid steers, and excavators, with the necessary certifications.
  • A valid WA Driver's License (Manual C Class).
  • A High-risk work license for Forklift, Confined Space, and Work at Heights qualifications.
  • A working knowledge of the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
