Student Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Student Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our student support services, you will play a critical role in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes for students.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide evidence-based assessments and interventions to identify early intervention and prevention opportunities. You will work closely with students, families, school staff, and the community to develop and implement tailored support plans that address the unique needs of each student.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build strong partnerships with families and the school community to promote positive relationships and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect. You will also contribute to educational events that encourage awareness and participation by students, parents, and the community.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be passionate about student support and have a strong commitment to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based assessments and interventions to identify early intervention and prevention opportunities
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans that address the unique needs of each student
  • Build strong partnerships with families and the school community to promote positive relationships and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect
  • Contribute to educational events that encourage awareness and participation by students, parents, and the community
