We are seeking a passionate and experienced Toddler Room Leader to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a key member of our centre, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum for toddlers, leading and guiding a small team of educators, and creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive social interactions and conflict resolution.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement a curriculum for toddlers that aligns with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
  • Lead and guide a small team of educators to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Plan and organize age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Monitor children's progress and behaviour, and communicate with parents
  • Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution
  • Create a nurturing environment that promotes a sense of community and belonging

Requirements

  • Diploma in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards
  • First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current child protection training
