Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Toddler Room Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum for toddlers, leading and guiding a small team of educators, and planning and organizing age-appropriate activities.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in ECE (or an ACECQA equivalent) and knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards. They will also have first aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification, as well as a current Working with Children Check and child protection training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a curriculum for toddlers
  • Lead and guide a small team of educators
  • Plan and organize age-appropriate activities
  • Monitor children's progress and behaviour, and communicate with parents
  • Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution
  • Create a nurturing environment and build relationships with children and families
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the toddler room
