Job Opportunity

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility and Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of properties on behalf of the government.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of Indigenous Australians.

As a Facility and Asset Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing and implementing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
  • Support the delivery of asset business plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and direct contractor performance, ensuring that all contracts are executed to budget and scope.
  • Assist with audits and inspections, and build and maintain positive relationships with agencies, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facility management, asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Current driver's license required.
