Job Overview

The position of Facilities and Asset Manager involves overseeing the day-to-day management of properties on behalf of the government.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas of risk and opportunity in relation to maintenance and capital works, developing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
  • Support the delivery of asset business plans and other strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze regular call-outs, reactive maintenance, and other requests to inform asset maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Be the primary point of contact for technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure contracts are executed within budget and scope.
  • Support compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with audits and inspections.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on delivery of programmed work by subcontractors.
