We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Programs, Projects, and Portfolio group. This team exists to ensure Xero operates as a world-class business and leads the transformation into a modern delivery organization. We deploy best-in-class Portfolio, Programme, Project, and Delivery practices to deepen customer intimacy and accelerate value delivery.

The successful candidate will work across multiple product and engineering teams to deliver critical projects. Strong stakeholder management and experience leading complex technical cross-functional projects are essential.

This role involves leading strategic projects from concept to operational handover. Rapid project setup, world-class delivery, and robust operational management are crucial to achieving our objectives. You will be responsible for planning, scoping, and scheduling activities to complete projects to a high standard while ensuring innovation and speed to market are maintained.

This project focuses on delivering a specific piece of work: the Spam project. It encompasses three main streams of work: discovering spam-related risks and developing a roadmap, analyzing monitoring and blocking tools, and reviewing potential AI solutions to detect spam.
