The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Airfreight Export Specialist to oversee airfreight export operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and profitability. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, negotiating with airlines, and developing strategies to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the airfreight export operations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Handle customer complaints, inquiries, and negotiations to maximize business opportunities.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years of managerial experience in Freight Forwarding and Logistics.
  • Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Air Cargo Security and Dangerous Goods accreditation essential.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
