The Role
  • We require an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, and a minimum 5-7 years' experience working in a consultancy environment.
  • Able to work on complex structures including education, commercial, community, sporting, and boutique residential projects.
  • Responsible for carrying out calculations and structural analysis according to guidelines, Australian Standards, health and safety regulations, and local authorities' regulations.
  • Manage design communication and professional relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Drafters to provide high-quality structural design and documentation.
  • Project management and supporting clients and internal customers on technical queries.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standard design codes and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to produce complex calculations in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry materials.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role within a consultancy environment.
  • Experience in scheming, designing, and providing construction phase assistance for complex structures.
