Job Title: Engineering Manager

As a seasoned leader with expertise in Pump Hydro, you will oversee our Bidding Team working on various projects from our Brisbane office. Your primary responsibilities include:

Overall Leadership

  • Management of internal and external engineering teams within infrastructure projects.
  • Leadership of a team of Engineering Managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Development and encouragement of leadership skills among internal and external designers as partners.
  • Visible guidance and support for new graduates within the organization.
  • Ensuring the required technically acceptable standard of work for engineering is maintained.
  • Maintenance and updating of the engineering toolbox to keep it current and fit for purpose.
  • Supporting engineering teams on projects, including assigning personnel and undertaking peer reviews/audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10-20 years relevant experience in engineering contracting or consultancy organizations, specifically in Infrastructure or Energy & Resources sectors.
  • 5+ years' experience in engineering management with proven success in managing teams of Engineering Managers.
  • Previous experience in key areas of Pump Hydro: Tunnels (Dry and Wet), Pressure shafts, surge tanks, Powerhouse complex, dams, intake, and spillway.
