The role of Fleet Administration Manager is pivotal in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of vehicle fleets.
This involves overseeing all aspects of fleet management, from acquisition and utilization through to maintenance, replacement planning and compliance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cost-effective and compliant outcomes, working closely with logistics, finance, regional directors and external providers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fleet professional who thrives in a complex environment, enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, and is motivated by contributing to the safe and seamless delivery of essential healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer fleet policy in support of operational continuity, sustainability and optimizing total operating cost outcomes.
- Ensure ongoing alignment of fleet policy to related government, health, statutory and industry best practice.
- Work with logistics manager, regional directorates, finance, drivers and customers to develop and administer fleet policy.
- Manage complex projects, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering high-quality outcomes with strong attention to detail and alignment to strategic objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a combination of qualifications and substantial experience in fleet management and operations.
- Strong experience in fleet operations and management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, disposal, and overall portfolio oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to apply industry best practices, comply with relevant legislation and organizational policies and standards.
- Proficient in corporate financial and administrative systems, with hands-on experience using fleet management and telematics platforms to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
