Job Title: Water Management Technician

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Management Technician to join our team. As a key member of our aquatic weed management program, you will be responsible for operating our aquatic weed harvester and marine support vessel to deliver scheduled aquatic weed maintenance activities, ensuring technical compliance, worksite safety, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III in Maritime Operations Master up to 24 metres near coastal
  • Coxswain Grade 2 near coastal commercial operator's Licence
  • Marine Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency
  • Manual 'C' class drivers licence
  • Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD)

Desirable Skills and Qualifications include a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent qualification, Agricultural Chemical Distribution Certificate (ACDC) accreditation, and First Aid Certificate.
