System Infrastructure Specialist

This role involves providing technical support, security management and infrastructure maintenance across various client environments.
About the Role- Maintain and improve IT infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable systems.
- Support junior engineers while leading or contributing to various IT projects.
- Administer and troubleshoot Veeam Backup & Replication, HPE server infrastructure, and Fortinet security solutions.
- Configure and support Cisco solutions, including Duo MFA and Meraki networking.
- Administer Office 365 and Exchange environments, as well as VMware vSphere environments.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation using Qualys (CSAM, VMDR).
- Maintain and improve IT infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable systems.
- Support junior engineers while leading or contributing to various IT projects.
- Administer and troubleshoot various network, storage and security solutions.
Required skills include experience in IT infrastructure and security engineering, with hands-on experience in backup and storage, servers, security, productivity, messaging, virtualisation, and security management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
Desirable skills include experience with cloud platforms, knowledge of ITIL practices, and familiarity with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell or Python.
