Operations Systems Specialist Role Overview

We're looking for a skilled Operations Systems Specialist to join our team. As an expert in core Airline Operational systems, you'll be responsible for configuring and testing solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the successful implementation of new versions and releases of systems
  • Ownership of small enhancement initiatives from understanding business need to coordinating delivery of solution
  • Undertake system configuration
  • Ensure any changes are effectively communicated to impacted areas
  • Contribute to larger technology projects ensuring these projects deliver technology solutions that meet your business areas' needs
  • Develop test scripts, coordinate and undertake testing
  • Resolve or assist support teams to resolve incidents and ensure root cause analysis is undertaken
  • Support infrastructure upgrades
  • Build strong relationships and meet regularly with your business areas' stakeholders to understand their current and future business needs
  • Track release cycles for systems in your domain with relevant vendors

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Management, Business Management, etc. or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years'+ experience in a systems role, e.g. system analyst, business analyst, systems support
  • Experience with systems used by Guest Services, AMCO and Cabin Managers highly advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative and flexible approach
