Network Operations Controller

As a key member of the Regional Express network team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless flight communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily network performance by monitoring flights for on-time arrival and departure.
  • Liaise with airports to ensure accurate and timely flight information exchange.
  • Track and report delay reasons, as well as weather and NOTAM updates impacting operations.
  • Collaborate with the Network Operations Centre to formulate disruption plans and minimize passenger impact.
Slot Management Strategies:
  • Coordinate arrival slots through Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) to reduce network delays.
  • Manage departure slots in Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) environments.
Crew Management:
  • Evaluate crew compliance with regulatory requirements, including Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and enterprise agreements.
  • Plan crew coverage for sickness, operational disruptions, or additional training needs.
  • Arrange crew positioning, accommodation, and meal entitlements.
  • Support Rostering and Crew Planning teams for training disruptions or qualification requirements.

Conditions: Level 8 under the Services Collective Agreement.
