As a key player in the food supply chain, you will contribute to maintaining accurate records and product information. Your role as an Inventory Control Technician involves working closely with the Inventory Manager to compile and maintain physical and virtual product inventories.

Inventory Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and records.
  • Investigate damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
  • Locate products to ensure correct product ID and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Review stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other listed information to verify accuracy of outbound orders.
  • Review files to identify unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Experience preferred in operating inventory systems and procedures.
  • Strong understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legality issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
