About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our Container Freight Station (CFS) team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in addressing complex challenges within the logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and devise solutions for complex CFS warehouse issues
  • Provide high-quality customer service through 2nd line incident management and support
  • Draft business requirements for new features and functionalities
  • Assess existing functionalities, recommending areas for improvement
  • Document supporting content and release notes
  • Analyse and document processes
  • Identify and evaluate inefficiencies, suggesting optimal business practices and system functionality/behaviour
  • Troubleshoot problems in a timely manner and solve for root cause
  • Conduct product development reviews (UAT/QA) for software fixes and new features
  • Collaborate with customers and development throughout the lifecycle of new features
About You

You will be a specialist in CFS software development with a strong understanding of factors that drive efficiency and productivity gains within the operation. You should have experience and exposure to freight forwarding, customs control, landside transport, and an overall understanding of how the end-to-end supply chain operates.

You will have experience working in any of the following regions - China, APAC/Oceania, Americas, or the European Union.

You are a clear communicator and attentive listener, adept at uncovering the root cause of problems. Thriving in challenging situations, you appreciate the dynamics of a flexible, flat-structured work environment and possess the ability to delve beyond surface-level issues.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in container freight station related logistics/supply chain areas
  • Experience using our flagship product, CargoWise is valuable
  • Additionally, having a strong understanding of the customs control process on cargo, and international freight forwarding, are skills that are highly desirable
  • Experience and understanding with landside transport movements also desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated self-driven learning and self-development are critical to success in this role
  • Background is software development and integration is advantageous
  • Experience investigating problems within CFS Warehouses and solving with an IT solution
