Role Overview
As a Product Specialist within the Container Freight Station (CFS) division, you will play a pivotal role in addressing fundamental challenges faced by the logistics sector.
Our Product Specialists are adept problem solvers and experts in their field. They collaborate with clients to diagnose issues, pinpoint root causes, and partner with software engineers to deliver effective solutions. Acting as a liaison between business needs and technological capabilities, they ensure a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop solutions for intricate CFS warehouse challenges.
- Deliver exceptional customer support through advanced incident management.
- Create business requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Evaluate current functionalities and recommend improvements.
- Document relevant content and release notes.
- Analyze and document operational processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose optimal business practices and system functionalities.
- Resolve issues promptly and address root causes.
- Conduct product development reviews (UAT/QA) for software updates and new features.
- Collaborate with clients and development teams throughout the feature lifecycle.
About You:
You will possess specialized knowledge in CFS software development and a robust understanding of the factors that enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Experience in freight forwarding, customs processes, landside transport, and a comprehensive grasp of the end-to-end supply chain is essential.
Your experience should include working in regions such as China, APAC/Oceania, the Americas, or the European Union.
You are an effective communicator and a keen listener, skilled at uncovering the underlying causes of issues. You thrive in dynamic environments and appreciate the nuances of a flexible, flat organizational structure, allowing you to explore beyond superficial problems.
As a self-motivated individual, you will manage your tasks independently and be prepared to enhance your skills across various topics related to warehousing and engage in cross-team collaborations concerning international forwarding and customs processes.
Your Qualifications:
- Significant experience in logistics and supply chain management related to container freight stations.
- Familiarity with our flagship product, CargoWise, is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of customs control processes and international freight forwarding is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of landside transport operations is also beneficial.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proven track record of self-directed learning and professional development is crucial for success in this role.
- A background in software development and integration is a plus.
- Experience in troubleshooting issues within CFS warehouses and implementing IT solutions is essential.
