Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our engineering team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective cloud infrastructure designs that meet the needs of our AI applications.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Development: Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Set up proactive monitoring systems, manage alerts, and lead incident response efforts to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software engineers to troubleshoot issues, optimize infrastructure performance, and ensure seamless integration with development workflows.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure infrastructure meets compliance requirements to safeguard data and protect client privacy.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with a proven track record in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Skills: Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions, and expertise in managing relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
