Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Expertech. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing self-service infrastructure delivering and driving an agile, stable, and secure platform across Public & Private Clouds and Data Centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds automated deployments using infrastructure-as-code cutting-edge technologies
  • Ensures cloud infrastructure is properly patched, monitored, and maintained
  • Monitor and analyse trends in system performance, cost, capacity and reliability
  • Implement new technologies within the cloud space to improve processes
  • Build and maintain high availability systems through automation and self-service to application and business teams

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated (5+ years) experience working with GCP/Azure/AWS and a proven track record of building cloud infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of VPC, security and monitoring and experience implementing best practices
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, Terraform, GitHub, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker
  • Proficient in CICD tools and technologies including Jira, GitHub, Buildkite
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills
  • Ability to effectively present information to different target audiences both verbally and in writing
