About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in cloud infrastructure management. Your expertise in Azure IaaS, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting will enable you to drive the development and optimisation of our cloud data infrastructure.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new data sources and workflows. You will also be responsible for managing Azure servers, databases, and data pipelines to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Cloud Data Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain cloud data infrastructure and systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.">
  • Manage Azure Resources: Manage and maintain Azure servers, databases, and data pipelines to support seamless data operations.">
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data infrastructure with business objectives and requirements.">
  • Implement Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices to safeguard data integrity and ensure compliance with relevant standards.">
  • Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Minimum 7 years in Cloud Infrastructure Management: A minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a strong background in Azure.">
  • Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting.">
  • Networking and Security Experience: Experience with networking, security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) is essential for this role.">
  • Data Platforms Experience: Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks and proficiency in SQL is highly desirable.">
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.">
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies.">
