Job Opportunity:

Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Specialist

As a Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing within our client organisations. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, providing strategic advice, and implementing integrated health and safety frameworks.

  • Partner with clients to assess their current health, safety, and wellbeing practices, identifying areas for enhancement and growth.
  • Develop tailored health, safety, and wellbeing programs that align with the values and operating environments of our clients.
  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulatory guidance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consulting and Advisory: Collaborate with clients to design and implement comprehensive health, safety, and wellbeing strategies.
  • Program Design and Delivery: Develop and deliver targeted health, safety, and wellbeing programs that cater to the unique needs of each client organisation.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and incident reviews to ensure continuous improvement in health and safety outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Work Health and Safety, People and Culture, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Risk Management, or Regulatory Compliance.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health, Organisational Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation, including the Model WHS Act, OHS Act 2004, and Psychological Health Regulations.
  • Proven ability to apply ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 frameworks and Safe Work Australia guidance in practical settings.
