- Your new and exciting role as the Workplace Health and Safety Officer you will working alongside the project team to oversee, manage and coordinate all safety requirements. In this role you will be required to perform the below tasks:
- Responsible for driving and leading a strong safety culture on site;
- Conduct site inspections and ensure all staff are complying to WHS regulations;
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, investigate, report and escalate such matters;
- Work closely with the Project Management team to mitigate all risks; and
- Develop and implement the work, health and safety plans.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- To be successful in this role you will have a true passion for both the construction industry and safety along with the below skills:
- Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety or currently studying;
- Collaborative communication style and ability to build strong long lasting relationships;
- Demonstrate a sound understanding on WHS legislation;
- Ability to consult and influence the evolution of safety culture across the workplace; and
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
