Job Opportunity: WHS Senior Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WHS Senior Advisor to provide expert advice on Work Health and Safety matters, conduct risk assessments, coach operational teams, perform workplace inspections and incident investigations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and relevant Australian and International Standards.
  • Proficiency in risk management concepts and practices, and WHS incident investigation methodologies.
  • A minimum of three to five years' experience working in a similar WHS role.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing WHS guidance and support to staff and stakeholders, facilitating risk assessments, conducting workplace inspections and developing safety management systems and policies.

  • Providing expert guidance and support on WHS matters.
  • Facilitating risk assessments and coaching operational teams on hazard identification and control.
  • Conducting workplace inspections and audits.
  • Developing and implementing safety management systems and policies.
