About the Role

We are seeking dedicated educators with strong interpersonal skills to join our team as Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teachers.

The successful candidates will ideally engage in reflective practice, contribute to a collaborative school culture, and challenge students to reach their full potential.

Applicants should display strong teaching and classroom management skills, along with the ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Knowledge of HaSS curriculum, teaching experience and proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is highly desirable.

We particularly welcome applications from teachers who are enthusiastic about working within an Explicit Instruction model and are focused on continually developing and refining their instructional practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach HASS subjects to students in Years 7-12
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and improve teaching practices
Requirements
  • A degree in Education or a related field
  • A valid teacher registration
  • Experience in teaching HASS subjects
  • Proficiency in ICT and ability to use digital tools for teaching and learning
