Leadership Opportunity in Medical Education

We seek a distinguished medical professional to occupy the position of Co-Academic Program Director (Clinical) within our Doctor of Medicine program. This senior leadership role provides strategic clinical leadership and partnership with the Co-APD for managing all clinically related aspects of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to governing the MD Program, leading clinical curriculum design and delivery
  • Oversee clinical placements, ensuring best practices in clinical learning and teaching
  • Lead as the lead medical practitioner representing the MD program in university and external settings, shaping graduate outcomes and maintaining national medical education standards
Qualifications and Requirements

You will hold unrestricted medical registration and postgraduate qualifications in a medical discipline, along with a current or anticipated specialist appointment. A strong commitment to ongoing professional practice and experience in curriculum delivery/development within a medical school or medical training environment are essential.

Requirements include maintenance of ongoing clinical employment within the region, unconditional registration as a medical practitioner, and compliance with relevant NSW Health policies.
