Job Description:

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pipeline network. This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Pipeline Operator Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies;
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on high-pressure natural gas equipment;
  • Maintaining valves and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance;
  • Conducting regular patrols and maintenance activities along the pipeline right of way;
  • Liaising with landholders and public authorities as required;
  • Assisting with a variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation, and records maintenance;
  • Undertaking interstate travel as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification in Electrical & Instrumentation;
  • Proven experience working in an operations and maintenance environment, preferably in the gas transmission or processing industry;
  • Drivers license (MR Class desirable);
  • Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation skills;
  • High pressure gas experience;
  • Centrifugal Compressor operation and maintenance experience;
  • Strong personal computing skills utilizing Microsoft Office systems.
