Electrical Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Specialist to join our team at Queensland Alumina Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance on a wide range of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical trade practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance on a wide range of equipment
  • Diagnose and recommend repair methods
  • Complete Hazardous Area and Gas System installation and maintenance work
  • Continuously improve plant stability by identifying and eliminating equipment failures

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to safely work as an individual and within a team environment
  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence
  • Certificate III in Instrumentation (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance
  • Commitment to safety systems and participation in site safety programs
