Project Cost Estimator for Infrastructure Development

At Boral, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Estimator to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will play a critical role in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating or financial modeling, with excellent analytical and financial skills, as well as a keen attention to detail.

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits, for the right candidate. You will also have opportunities for professional growth and career advancement underpinned by your aspirations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses within pricing strategy guidelines
  • Analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including project managers, Finance, and other teams to ensure estimates are aligned with project requirements and objectives
  • Identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and providing value engineering solutions
  • Maintaining and updating estimating databases and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency
