Design Experience Leader

The Senior Product Designer is a member of the Design team which partners with Product and Engineering teams across the business to create amazing products and experiences for our consumers and customers. Our world-class team designs experiences that connect people and property, through immersive, intuitive and personalised experiences, providing Australians with knowledge and confidence to make great property decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute product strategies.
  • Utilise your understanding of business opportunities, user needs, and technical constraints to design competitive products that enhance user satisfaction and drive business growth.
  • Mentor and guide Associate Product Designers & Product Designers, ensuring delivery of user-centred design solutions.
  • Plan, prioritise, and manage design activities with a lean mindset, facilitating project delivery.
  • Apply best practices in design to create and visually communicate compelling experiences in alignment with overall company vision.
  • Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement, using a solutions-focused approach in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct comprehensive research, leveraging qualitative and quantitative methods, to uncover user needs and analyse product performance.
  • Deliver high-quality products and features using systems thinking, adhering to visual identity and design system guidelines.
  • Lead design critiques and promote Design Thinking across the teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product design using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Adept at thriving in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable approaching challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Strengths in crafting compelling visual and strategic visions.
  • Passion for fostering a collaborative design culture that aligns with product and business goals.
  • Strength in building partnerships, growing high-performing teams, and providing mentorship to designers.
