**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead our procurement and contract management activities.

This role involves ensuring clear and concise contractual documentation, model ethical decision-making processes, and upholding government probity requirements.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing a team to meet key deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and manage a team of contract managers and consultants to oversee large-scale passenger transport service contracts.

- Allocate resources for managing key contracts within the team and support career development of team members.

- Build and sustain professional relationships with external parties and internal stakeholders to ensure contract management aligns with guidelines.

- Monitor performance on behalf of the Department of Transport and Main Roads as a key point of contact.

- Conduct analysis of contract performance metrics to identify strategies for improving customer outcomes.

- Provide evidence-based recommendations to senior executives.

**Requirements:**

- Experience in procurement and contract management practices is highly regarded.

- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing a team to meet key deliverables.

- Qualifications in commerce, accounting, economics, or contract administration are highly valued.

- Transport management experience is desirable.
