Explosive Operator Position

We're seeking skilled professionals to fill the Explosive Operator position in our growing team. As a casual worker, you'll enjoy flexibility to suit your lifestyle, with opportunities to transition into a permanent full-time position on a 7:7 roster if desired.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an Explosive Operator in coal or quarrying operations and hold a valid Standard 11 certification or be willing to obtain it.

A QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card or ability to obtain one is also required. Additionally, candidates must possess a Heavy Rigid (or greater) Driver Licence and a Statement of Attainment or proven training in conducting mobile mixing of explosives is preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, and candidates must also be fit and healthy, able to pass pre-employment checks inclusive of medicals and national background checks.
