Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled locomotive driver to join our team.

As a locomotive driver, you will be responsible for operating locomotives safely and efficiently, ensuring the timely transportation of freight across the country.

Your primary goal will be to maintain a high level of on-time running, while adhering to strict safety standards and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate locomotives safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a high level of on-time running
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures
  • Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
  • Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives

Requirements
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Able to work a 24/7 shift roster
  • Extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience
  • Certificate IV in Rail Operations (or equivalent)
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence
