The Operating Division comprises Qube Logistics, Infrastructure, Ports, and Bulk.About The RolePosition: Qualified Train DriverLocation: West Melbourne, VICStatus: CasualThe primary objective of the Train Driver position is to operate locomotives safely and efficiently, adhering to QLRS, regulator, and track owner rules and procedures.Duties include:Fulfill train operations requirements in a timely, safe, and punctual mannerParticipate in training, briefings, and toolbox talks related to safe train operationsPromote a positive safety culture across all levels of the businessComply with and promote the QLRS Safety Management SystemMentor trainee train drivers and promote safety and fuel conservation strategiesConduct shunting and train inspections as per proceduresRaise the organisation's profile within the industryEncourage a 'just culture' within the organisationAbout YouTLI42615 Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent qualificationClear communication skills, both written and oralKnowledge of safe working requirements on all routes and terminalsAbility to work collaboratively and adaptively in a demanding environmentGood level of fitness and healthBenefitsUp to 50% off on gyms, activewear, healthy meals, and more through Qube FitDiscounted health insurancePaid leave for volunteeringAccess to employee assistance programsPaid parental leave for eligible employeesOngoing training and development opportunitiesQube values diversity and encourages applications from all backgrounds.
