We are seeking a seasoned Workforce Optimisation Leader to spearhead the Contract Mobilisation team, driving efficiency in people mobilisation and workforce management.

The successful candidate will lead the development of robust processes and governance controls to maintain the organisation structure intact, ensuring seamless system integrations and reporting. They will also be responsible for providing advice and support to the business on Contractor Management mobilisation and delivery, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Safety: Drive proactive safety behaviours within workgroups through visible leadership and ensure compliance with site and contractual HSE requirements.
  • People: Develops team members through feedback, coaching and training, while providing mentoring, advice and support to contract owners/supervisors and their support staff.
  • Production: Ensure SAP organisation structure is maintained and quality assured, establishing robust processes and governance controls to prevent unplanned labour creeping into the business.
  • Cost: Delivers work within approved budget, managing variances in accordance with escalation process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualified degree or advanced diploma essential
  • Workforce Planning / Contractor Management qualifications desirable
  • 5+ years relevant work experience across mining operations or similar
  • Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Strong verbal, written communication and public speaking skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and autonomously
