Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Supervisor to join our team on the Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2 development, near Dongara, Western Australia. The successful candidate will have rotating equipment experience and be responsible for coordinating and supervising the mechanical team undertaking construction activities with a strong focus on Zero Harm.

This role involves coordination and supervision of the mechanical team during construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. To excel in this position, the ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Construction Supervisor with a background in rotating equipment, ideally on oil & gas projects, and demonstrated knowledge of Australian construction safety standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise mechanical team members during construction activities.
  • Schedule and coordinate work to be performed and monitor work achieved by each trade.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, requirements, and standards.
  • Interpret plans, regulations, codes of practice, labour control, and material deliveries.
  • Cost control, monitoring productivities, and forecasting costs to complete.
  • Estimating, programming, and dealing with sub-contractors.
