The Mother's Day Classic Foundation is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for breast and ovarian cancer research. Our annual fun run and walk event, held in up to 100 locations across Australia, brings together thousands of participants to support a great cause.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Event Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing our local host and volunteer programs, supporting event management services, and ensuring the smooth delivery of event operations elements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Local Host and Volunteer programs
  • Volunteer, Host and Committee recruitment
  • Support Event Management services, including venue bookings, permit applications, and grant opportunities
  • Support Event Logistics and Inventory Management
  • Assist in the implementation of our Risk Management program
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage database systems and website content
  • Support Event Support and Administration
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification or demonstrated experience in Event, Project, or Volunteer Management
  • Experience in events, venue operations, and logistics or similar
  • Experience working with volunteers and volunteer committees (desirable)
  • Experience working with Rosterfy or similar Volunteer Management software (desirable)
  • Experience working with data management and systems
  • Strong level of competency with MS Office
  • Ability to write reports and analyze data
  • Strong knowledge and experience in one or more of the following:
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Risk Management
  • Financial Management
  • Community Relations
