Job Title: Senior Workplace Relations Specialist

This is a pivotal role in delivering expert guidance and support across a broad range of workplace relations matters. As a Senior Workplace Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advice, delivering education, dispute resolution, supporting bargaining and wider Workplace Relations projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Head of Industrial Relations & Policy in executing a strategic and consistent Workplace Relations and compliance approach across the business.
  2. Interpret and apply industrial instruments, legislation, and company policies.
  3. Implement changes necessitated by law reforms, Award, and enterprise agreement updates.
  4. Support enterprise bargaining and change management processes.
  5. Engage in maintenance of internal resource libraries relevant to workplace relations.
  6. Provide timely and accurate reporting, and supporting, guiding, coaching, and advising on all matters related to workplace relations.
  7. Working constructively with business leaders and union officials, support the resolution of industrial matters.
  8. Engage appropriately in industrial matters and provide advice and guidance to People Directors, People Partners and business leaders.
  9. Assist in growing capability across the business in workplace relations via planning, co-ordinating, and delivering workshops, seminars, and other structured learning and development activities.
  10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and best practice in workplace relations.
  11. Contribute to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
