Compliance Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Assurance Specialist to support the growth of our business while maintaining a best-in-class risk and compliance culture.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ensuring that the company's activities are compliant with relevant legislation and policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on compliance risk to ensure that business units are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Complete oversight activities designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Support the design and execution of the compliance testing & monitoring plan, with a proactive approach to managing existing and emerging risks.
  • Interpret legislation and regulatory guidance, assess the impact, and develop practical operational guidance.
  • Independently test and validate the effectiveness of key controls.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the Head of Compliance and wider Compliance team to develop and encourage a culture of compliance.
  • Point of contact for complaints and internal regulatory & compliance investigations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Compliance or Risk professional.
  • Experience assisting business units in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance risk and compliance frameworks for businesses in regulated industries.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing priorities.
