About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Sales Representative to join our team at Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd - D81. As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of cloud services across a specific geography and startup segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and acquire new business opportunities for assigned territory
  • Identify and drive full sales cycles remotely
  • Understand the business development process and handle technical objections while positioning AWS services to meet customer requirements
  • Articulate and deliver business value that describes AWS services and pricing
  • Partner with the broader country team to establish and execute the go-to-market strategy, as well as with individual customers
  • Achieve monthly business goals, including pipeline generation and closed revenue
  • Maintain a prescribed cadence of activities
  • Stay current on Amazon Web Services products, technology, and business technical certifications
  • Record all customer information and maintain detailed tele-qualification records in the CRM for each prospective customer
