Senior Speech Pathologist Role

At NSW Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time professional to provide high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and management of acquired communication and swallowing difficulties across sub-acute inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Lead and supervise a team of Speech Pathologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to service evaluation and planning to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Extensive clinical experience, including experience as a Level 2 Speech Pathologist or equivalent.
  • Leadership and/or supervision skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and clinical skill with a neurology and general adult caseload in rehabilitation and outpatient settings.
