Transforming Lives with Water Infrastructure Leadership

Our team thrives on the challenge of delivering complex projects like the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Gold Coast Light Rail, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. We're currently seeking a Mechanical Area Manager to join our Infrastructure division on an upcoming $530m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement construction planning, programming, and completion schedules to meet client expectations and company objectives.
- Monitor progress, ensuring high-quality work techniques and report regularly on project performance and cost.
- Manage subcontractor work to achieve desired outcomes and develop beneficial relationships between stakeholders.
- Establish and develop a high-performing team to ensure the project meets its targets.
- Ensure strong contract, commercial, and financial risk management, accurate forecasting, and maximise profit margins.
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering, or similar.
- Previous experience within a Tier One contractor for at least 2 years.
- Experience in delivery of D&C water infrastructure projects and managing mechanical installation contractors is preferred.
- A passion for teamwork, tight deadlines, and excellent time management skills.
- An understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance, and reporting procedures.
