Health Safety and Environmental Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to join our team at Melbourne Airport.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with processes associated with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), coordinating rehabilitation and return to work for injured employees, and developing strategies to improve workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards and incidents
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HSE matters
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
- Formal qualification in a related field such as Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Science
- Demonstrated success in a similar role with a proven track record of improving HSE performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
